Stew Thornley made his second Hamline Midway History Corps Speaker Series appearance on Thursday, November 15, 2007. Six Feet Under: A Graveyard Guide to Minnesota offers a “haunting tour of the final resting places of famous and infamous Minnesotans in their home state.”

Thornley has written several books including Baseball in Minnesota: The Definitive History (Minn. Historical Society Press, 2006) and co-author of Minnesota Hoops: Basketball in the North Star State.
